Specification: With this package, Ziehl-Abegg offers a high quality drive system. It consists of a ZAF helical worm gear, VFD motor and ZETADYN 2CF inverter, everything from one source. The ZAF helical worm gear combines the positive features of different gear types.
Attributes and special features: It therefore offers a high efficiency (approx. 92%) together with low noise level, low vibration, compact design and high safety. The dual-circuit shoe brakes are available either with wear-control (standard version) or brake release monitoring.
Applications: The machine can be mounted horizontally or vertically, thus offering various installation solutions. Rope clamps, rope protection and sheave covers all in accordance with EN81 are included in the package. The traction sheave can be mounted either on side A (to the right, when looking on the gear from the motor side) or side B (to the left, when looking on the gear from the motor side). Please see dimension sheets on page 5-7. The ZAF63SB - ZAF250SB offers a safety brake for uncontrolled ascending car overspeed. By refurbishing existing units, installation expenditure is considerably reduced.
