Ziehl-Abegg AG is pleased with its successful product range in the 100th year. The Künzelsau specialist for ventilation and drive technology reports a 20 % increase in the Group's six months’ sales as compared with the preceding year. Based on incoming orders, an increase of 31 % was recorded. "We are aiming at the record level of 2008 and are expecting Group sales of over € 300 million" advised Chairman of the Board Peter Fenkl. The enormous demand for energy-efficient and low-noise fans has continued since the start of the year. "The expected EU Eco-design directive reinforces this trend even more" explains Norbert Schuster, the board member responsible for engineering and manufacturing. Drives Division continue to show unchanging strength. All Group production facilities have discontinued short-time work since the beginning of 2010 and are now working full speed ahead. Overtime is already being worked in many areas. For the parent company Ziehl-Abegg AG, in the case of the German sites, things are running even better. Sales have moved ahead 28 % as compared with the previous year. In the months May and June 2010, incoming orders were recorded at an all-time high. "The profit situation in the Company is satisfactory" says Achim Curd Rägle, the director responsible for finances. However, procurement prices are currently rising across the board, especially raw material costs, and the price increases due to foreign exchange rate fluctuations of the Euro are a reason to be concerned. About 2,600 people are employed in the Group including temporary workers. Approximately 1,500 people work in the German locations.

Mr. Ömür Aydoğan started working with Ziehl-Abegg Turkey on 1 August 2010.

Mr. Aydoğan, born in 1973, has graduated in Mechanical engineering, is married and has a daughter.

Addition to the MAXvent 2 family: 560 mm and 630 mm with 2 pole/3,000 rpm motors.

Ziehl-Abegg FMV is now completing the MAXvent 2 family to address the Machines and Equipment market where the emphasis is on compact and powerful fans.

MAXvent 2 medium pressure axial fans with diameters 560 mm and 630 mm will reach up to 950 Pa Static Pressure with 7.5 kW motors at 3,000 Rpm in a smaller package.

These fans will address applications in Industrial Machines like Generator Sets, Wind Power Stations, High Pressure Refrigeration Plant.
