Ziehl-Abegg test rigs gain AMCA Accreditation
Kuenzelsau/Germany: On November 17 Barbara Morrison CEO and Mark Stevens, Deputy Executive Director for Technical Affairs of the Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) handed over the official certification for Accredited Laboratory to Ziehl-Abegg. The combined test rigs of Ziehl-Abegg comply now to AMCA Standard 210.
Ziehl-Abegg has the first AMCA tested laboratory within the ventilator world that accomplishes ISO 13347 Part 3. The new AMCA standard is very important to Ziehl-Abegg as they want to use their laboratory to test complete customers’ applications in order to determine improvement potential in terms of noise reduction or reduction of energy consumption.
