High performance and energy efficient
Ziehl-Abegg presents the RH..C-ECblue centrifugal fans for ventilation engineering
Ziehl-Abegg is offering its direct-driven fans with the latest external rotor motors with ECblue technology. The very high efficiency makes these motors stand out. In addition, wireless configuration and an integrated status LED facilitate very fast and extremely simple commissioning of the EC fans. A separate optional module that can be inserted into the basic fan model makes integrating the fans into existing bus systems extremely simple.
The new external rotor motors with ECblue technology are now being combined with the cost-effective and quiet impellers in the RH..C series. The technical advantage of this high-performance centrifugal impeller is based on the design of the impeller with an optimised, rotating diffuser. Due to the very high power density of the C-impeller as compared to other impellers, a smaller impeller size than expected can often be deployed, or a motor with lower power can be used.
Combined with the ECblue motor, the C-impeller series is available in diameters from 250-630 mm.
Since mid 2009, Ziehl-Abegg has been supplying IE2 motors as standard motors for its fan systems having internal rotor motors. These are distinguished by an up to 10% higher degree of efficiency as compared with IE1 motors. The free-running RH..C series impeller is available in combination with IE2 motors in diameter from 225 to1120 mm.
Belt-driven centrifugal fans still partially in use in the market, are governed by a great number of efficiency degrading components for design reasons, which decisively worsens the system efficiency.
The efficiency degrading components are drastically reduced in direct-driven fans such as in the RH..C-ECblue. This not only affects the multiplicity of parts, the parts logistics and parts costs, but also affects the power consumption and with that, the power costs.
