AGRICULTURE
Ventilation and heating have become an integral part of the building services engineering in pig farms, because a controlled climate greatly influences the animals' well-being and rearing.
In many cases there are Ziehl-Abegg axial fans with associated controllers in use. These feature especially high efficency and robustness as well as low energy consumption.
Air conditioning involves the creation and maintenance of desired ambient conditions in a room.
Ziehl-Abegg offers machines suitable for reducing room temperatures (cooling), increasing room temperatures (heating), reducing humidity (dehumidification) or increasing humidity (humidification).
In the modern production of electronics e.g. during the production of computer chips, airborne particles must not affect the manufacturing process. That's why Ziehl-Abegg controllers, in combination with precise air speed measurement instruments maintain a steady air flow from the ceiling to the floor.
More and more electronic applications are confronted with the problem that the components' temperatures are increasingly elevated due to the compact design and aggrevated environmental conditions. To make sure that electronic devices work reliably there must be adequate cooling. With the application of Ziehl-Abegg fans the component operating temperatures can be noticeably reduced.
Typical applications for Ziehl-Abegg fans and controllers, when fitted to industrial heating devices, could be the heating of assembly halls or super markets. With too low temperatures, the controller increases the fan's speed to deliver a greater volume of warm air from the heater.

For the cooling of machines and facilities, Ziehl-Abegg delivers products that are especially durable and robust. The fans, with their compact design, effectively and efficiently provide cooling air capable of dissipating the heat generated in many different processes and machines.
Electrically driven trains present challenging operating environments when considering the heating effect of power supplies, motors and electronic components. Electronic components in particular are susceptible to elevated temperatures, the the risk of component failure rising with rising temperatures. Ziehl-Abegg products are ideally positioned when seeking solutions for such cooling problems.
With refrigeration type applications, Ziehl-Abegg fans are frequently used. On the cold side of the process axial fans produce a consistent temperature in the cold room. On the warm side there are condensers which are air-cooled by several big, especially quiet, axial fans. As required, controllers manage the speed of the fans depending upon the refrigeration load.
Transformers, in performing the task they're designed to do, suffer losses which generate unwanted heat. Some of this heat is rejected through radiation, but mechanical cooling is usually required, most often achieved by circulating oil through the transformer and through air-cooled coils. Ziehl-Abegg axial fans provide the perfect solution for this application.
Efficient ventilation is essential for reliably high air quality in a room.
