Hello,

I have an ABB Multidrives using Ziehl cooling fans of two types; G2E140-AI51-ABB1 and D4E 225-CC01-39. Unfortunately I could not find these type codes in website catalog. Are these type numbers old? Can Zeihl identify these units and be able to supply the same?

the mentioned types are not Ziehl-Abegg-fans. But we can offer to you alternative solutions:

1. RG14S-2EP.WC.AR
2. RD20S-4EW.4C.1L or RD25S-4EW.4N.1L

Dear Michael,
I have checked my existing fans and item 1 of your alternative offer is definitely is correct unit for my existing fan.
Unfortunately, the item 2 is not. My existing fan has outlet flange dimensions of 341mm x 304mm on the outside, and 287mm x 284 on the inside. Do you manufacture fans of this dimentioned?

please see attached pdf-file. This is a RD22P-fan with the flange dimensions 279x281 mm. The outer flange dimensions are 338x338 mm.
Please check if this fan would fit.

Dear Michael,
I appreciate your assistance but the fan that you mentioned does not fit. I have to find a fan that have exact flange dimensions. The mounting of the fan on the drives cubicle is such that there is a rail at the bottom of the inverter where the flange is inserted from the front side and locking plate is tightened by two screws. The fan hangs in the bottom of the inverter by its flange.

I checked again our possibilities to offer a suitable fan to you. Unfortunately we do not have any fan with the flange dimensions 287mm x 284 mm you mentioned.
For your information. We are increasing our product range of such smaller fans continuously. Maybe we will be able to offer an alternative solution in the near future. But up to now we cannot offer you a suitable fan. Sorry for that.
