A registration on the Ziehl-Abegg website makes several features available:

• You can subscribe to the Ziehl-Abegg newsletter to be informed any time (automatically) about news around Ziehl-Abegg
• You get full access to our support board and can start threads or answer posts
• You can store your personal data (name, address etc.) - invisible for third parties - in your profile, so that these data are filled in automatically e.g. for inquiries via Ziehl-Abegg contact form
• You can administrate your own bookmarks for the Ziehl-Abegg website
• It's possible to send private messages to other members of the website
• Adjustment of numerous options in your user profile
• In some cases you get access to protected areas
• and many more...

To register on the Ziehl-Abegg website please follow the link "register" (top right in the profile block) or use the button "Register" in the board (top left).

After that, accept the displayed rules by click on the button.

In the following form please insert your desired user name (e.g. firstname lastname), your email address and your password, including repetition.
The other fields are optional, so you don't have to complete them but you can.
By clicking on "Register" (at the bottom) you save your entries.

Finally you'll receive an email under the address you specified. Please complete the registration by confirming the printed activation link in the email.

After your successful registration and activation your're logged in automatically. This is visible by a "Hello firstname lastname" in your profile block or a "Welcome back, firstname lastname" in the board.

Your login dates are stored in a cookie. Thus, another login (not registration!) is only necessary when you use another PC or your cookies were deleted.

How to log in:
a.) In the profile block on the website:
The fields to log in are located top right in the profile block

b.) In the board:
The fields to log in are located on the start page of the board on the bottom (in the board: use the 2nd button from right to reach the start page)

Please insert user name and password into the intended fields and confirm your entry with click on "Login".

Should you forget your password please follow the link "forgot password" in the profile block top right on the website or in the board on the startpage at the bottom.
You'll be asked to insert your user name. After you've done this, please click "submit".
Within a short time you'll get an email with further instructions.

Due to security reasons another confirmation is necessary: to do this, just click on the link in the email. Then you'll finally get another email with your new password.

Change password:
To change your password please log in (as long as you haven't already).
a.) Click in your profile block on the "settings" icon and afterwards on "Change Password"

b.) Click in the board on the "Profile" button (top left) and afterwards on "Change Password"

Finally you can change your password by inserting the old one and a new one twice.

Hint: For passwords you should always choose a combination of characters consisting of rare words and word orders, fantasy words or foreign words, first letters of sentences, numbers and/or special characters or even better: combinations of all of them.
