A remote control of the hand release, e. g. via a Bowden wire, is not possible.
The brakes with hand release have a special design. A later retrofit of a brake with a hand release is not possible therefore.
The hand release always opens both brake circuits. If the test of a single brake circuit is necessary, a corresponding logic is to be included in the elevator control.
Evacuation unit EVAC 3B
Suitable for the frequency inverter ZETADYN 3BF Ziehl Abegg offers now the evacuation unit EVAC 3B. Like the ZETADYN 3B the EVAC 3B is intended for the installation in the elevator control cabinet.
The EVAC 3B has an integrated power failure detection, i.e. at phase failure the EVAC 3B switches to battery operation. The operation, parameterisation and diagnosis of the EVAC 3B are made comfortably by the ZETAPAD.
The size of the EVAC 3B is independent of the machine, and/or inverter size Suitable to the necessary evacuation energy and the desired evacuation time Ziehl Abegg offers various battery sets, which supply the machine and the frequency inverter with energy, so that always it can be evacuated in the direction given by the control, independent from the load situation.
I am currently looking at using an alternative brake release mechanism to our standard bowden cable brake release. The suggestion is that Ziehl-Abegg can supply an electric brake release kit . Could you please provide me with technical information ?
