Our ZAbluegalaxy solution is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application, which provides a quick and economical entry point into intelligent device management , facilitating the process of digital transformation. ZAbluegalaxy was developed especially for applications in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration technology (HVAC/R) and elevators sector , enabling to offer specific advantages when compared to a standard cloud solution.
Users benefit from digital value creation with smart devices and components: ZAbluegalaxy brings together every device with connectivity functions , from fans to elevators, and allows users to monitor all production workflows, machines and processes and perform data-based analyses. The data collected is stored chronologically without any gaps and can be easily compressed into reports for evaluation. What’s more, our SaaS solution enables you to tap into a wide range of services and can be flexibly adjusted to an array of requirements. Protected addressing ensures maximum security, while special security functions allow for transparent risk management.
ZAbluegalaxy makes all necessary components available as an external service, offering more added value to customers every step of the way. This digital technology is based on the proven cloud services from the Microsoft Azure platform and guarantees the highest possible degree of availability, scalability, compliance, security and data protection. Users are given their own personal login to access the system, which is available either via a web browser or, for added flexibility, via the ZAset app. Any data exchanged is end-to-end encrypted for a high level of security, though if necessary other IoT platforms can also be incorporated (via a REST-API). In the standard solution, IoT-compatible devices and machines are connected via MODBUS (standard bus protocol) to a ZA Cloud gateway , which acts as the interface to ZAbluegalaxy .
An IoT hub allows for secure and reliable communication between ZAbluegalaxy and the IoT devices that it manages. The open protocol MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) is used for communication. This allows telemetrics data to be transmitted, even in the event of long delays or in restricted networks. In theory, all IoT-compatible devices with Bus communication can be connected to the ZA Cloud Gateway . Users can also incorporate their own gateways by making software adjustments or using a REST-API interface. What’s more, the ZA Cloud Gateway is already pre-configured to be connected to the innovative motor technology ECblue from ZIEHL-ABEGG.
