ZArec - Power feedback unit
In a typical elevator system, the unused energy generated during travel is converted by a brake resistor into waste heat. From an environmental perspective, this approach is put into question by increasing resource scarcity, rising energy costs and the resulting increasing demands for energy efficiency and sustainability, which require ways of using the unexploited energy potential. The use of the ZArec4C regeneration unit takes these demands into account. The generated energy is stored and fed back into the supply network. The ZArec’s extremely flat design makes it ideal for wall mounting in the machine room or lift shaft.
