aPFC Filter

"aPFC Filter = Active Power Factor Correction"
The aPFC filter neutralizes reactive power, thereby preventing the formation of harmonics and increasing the overall performance of the system.
Active rectification converts the pulsed current curve into a sinusoidal one, ensuring that the voltage and current in the grid are in phase.

Alternatively, there are also passive PFC filters that perform power correction using passive components such as inductors and capacitors without actively controlling the current. Compared to aPFC filters, these are usually less expensive to purchase, but also less powerful.
