New generation of ZIEHL-ABEGG fans with continuous compensation for high power quality on the grid, up to 6 kW—developed to meet the future requirements of professional data centre cooling
Our biomimetic fans have been further developed and now feature three-phase power factor correction (3~ PFC) up to 6 kW. They achieve THDi values of < 5% up to 6 kW and a power factor of 99%. The newly integrated power electronics module in the ECblue motor keeps harmonics under control, improves fan system efficiency and offers customers energy-saving potential. Harmonic compensation ensures a sinusoidal power supply, high operational reliability and reliable cooling for server installations in data centres. It also provides high power quality and efficient active power up to 6 kW, while avoiding costly reactive power.
These efficient fans are equipped exclusively with high-performance components designed for high power density. This creates new opportunities for the HVAC and ventilation systems sector, including reliable air supply, energy-saving potential, reduced-noise operation and high cost-effectiveness.
