Putting Industry Professionals in the Spotlight: Felix Beilharz on B2B Social Media at Chillventa

Social media expert shows engineers, buyers and sales professionals how to build trust through expertise
Chillventa, the world’s leading trade fair for refrigeration technology, is a major showcase for innovations in refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pump technology. This year, Ziehl-Abegg is adding a topic of growing importance to business success to its trade fair programme: visibility. Renowned social media expert Felix Beilharz will deliver two presentations at the company’s exhibition stand, aimed specifically at technical professionals and decision-makers from industry and specialist trade businesses. Chillventa will take place in Nuremberg from 13 to 15 October 2026. Ziehl-Abegg will be exhibiting in Hall 7 at stands 7-111 and 7-112

Beilharz’s presentations are deliberately aimed neither at influencers nor exclusively at marketing departments. They will focus on the people who develop solutions, deliver projects, advise customers and make technical decisions in their daily work. Engineers, technicians, buyers, project managers and sales professionals often possess a wealth of specialist knowledge. Yet much of this expertise remains confined to their own organisations.

“Our industry deserves greater visibility,” says Joachim Ley, CEO of Ziehl-Abegg. “The people behind technical innovations achieve remarkable things. When more specialists share their knowledge and make their expertise visible, they strengthen not only their own companies but the industry as a whole. Visibility also supports recruitment. If our customers become more visible, they can be more successful in attracting the people they need. And we are pleased when our customers succeed.”

By inviting Felix Beilharz to Chillventa, Ziehl-Abegg is continuing its work as a pioneer in modern corporate communications. The company was an early adopter of digital formats, social media and new channels of communication. Platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok and Instagram are no longer used solely as marketing tools. They are increasingly becoming important channels for professional dialogue, knowledge transfer, recruitment and brand perception.

Competition for qualified employees is particularly intense in technical industries. Many companies are struggling to recruit skilled professionals, engineers and apprentices. At the same time, potential applicants are often given little insight into the actual work carried out by the people behind the products. Companies that make their technical expertise visible build trust among customers, business partners and prospective employees.

Felix Beilharz is one of the best-known experts on social media and digital marketing in the German-speaking world. Drawing on specific examples, he will demonstrate how professionals and companies can use digital platforms to showcase their expertise, establish credibility and create new business opportunities. The presentations will focus on practical approaches that participants can apply directly in their day-to-day work.

The presentations will take place at the Ziehl-Abegg exhibition stand in Hall 7. A German-language session is scheduled for 11.00 am, followed by an English-language session at 2.00 pm. The offer is therefore aimed at both German and international trade visitors.

For Ziehl-Abegg, this initiative is a logical extension of its communications strategy. The company does not regard communication as an end in itself, but as a means of strengthening an entire industry. “Technology alone is no longer enough,” says Joachim Ley. “People want to know who is behind an innovation. Those who share their expertise are noticed. Those who are noticed earn trust. And trust is the foundation of every business relationship.”

By bringing Felix Beilharz to Chillventa, Ziehl-Abegg is offering visitors additional value while also making a clear case for a more open, visible and attractive industry.
