Potentiometers

ZIEHL-ABEGG has developed a range of different of potentiometers for actuating EC fans and control units. The desired resistance value can be set accurately, quickly and easily using the rotary knob. ZIEHL-ABEGG potentiometers are available in stepless and multi-step versions. Depending on the design, wall mounting can be carried out by way of surface mounting or in existing in-wall boxes. ZIEHL-ABEGG potentiometers are supplied with a 10 V voltage from the EC fan or control unit and deliver a control voltage of 0–10 V depending on the rotary knob setting. ZIEHL-ABEGG supplies highly efficient EC fans and perfectly coordinated control technology from a single source – for optimum performance and maximum efficiency.

ZIEHL-ABEGG frequency inverters and ECblue EC fans have an on-board 10 V power supply. It is easy to connect a potentiometer to allow the required speed or control to be specified.
