AC external rotor motor

As they are easy to assemble, AC motors offer a robust and low-cost solution for small ventilation systems in clean rooms. Energy efficiency can be significantly improved in partial load operation by activating a frequency inverter. The external rotor motor from ZIEHL-ABEGG ideally combines the advantages of a compact and space-saving design with the proven drive concept of a wear-free squirrel-cage motor or a highly efficient EC motor. In conjunction with the associated integrated or external frequency inverter or EC controller, we offer tailor-made and innovative drive solutions for a wide range of applications.
We also supply proven AC technology with ATEX and IECEx certification especially for explosive areas of applications, e.g. in environments containing flammable gases.
