ZAdisc

The elevator machine ZAdisc replaces the original machine on a 1:1 basis. The traction sheave is prepared for the existing cable. By making use of the existing fastening element and clamp, you no longer need to spend lots of time machining the guide rails. The ZAdisc’s very flat design facilitates optimum shaft dimensions. Our 2-stage RETROFITBLUE modernisation concept gives you freedom and enables you to switch from original spare parts to ZIEHL-ABEGG components available on the free market. Installing our modern frequency inverter ZAdyn4CS (stage 1) and replacing the old elevator machine with a ZAdisc (stage 2) enables you to easily and efficiently create your modern high-tech elevator system with significantly improved performance and travel comfort.

Properties & special features:

Permanent magnet excited gearless drive for traction sheave cable elevators without a machine room.
The slimline design and mounting of the elevator machine to the guide rails allow for optimum shaft dimensions.
The type examination tested brake can be used as part of the protective device to prevent the car from overspeeding when travelling upwards or as part of the protective device to prevent unintended movement of the car.
