Drive technology at the Hohenlohe-based family business encompasses electric motors for elevators, CT scanners and underwater robots. Vahsen has been familiar with these products since 2010; it was in this year that he joined the company as Area Sales Manager, serving customers in the Asia, Middle East and Eastern Europe regions. Five years later he joined Ziehl-Abegg Automotive as Global Account Manager. “I am now looking forward to shaping the entire sales department of the Drive Technology division,” says the 42-year-old, commenting on his career move.
Vahsen has completed two apprenticeships: one as a refrigeration system technician at the Jülich Research Centre and one as an energy electronics technician at RWE. He then completed his studies in facility management at the Gelsenkirchen University of Applied Sciences, specialising in building services technology.
