Modernising elevator systems – from geared to gearless drive
ZAtop SM205 with ZAframe for payloads up to 1,050 kg
Existing elevator systems can be upgraded without replacing the entire system. The coordinated system consisting of the ZAtop SM205A gearless elevator machine and the ZAframe MK4850A machine frame enables the switch from gear-based to gearless drive technology with 1:1 suspensions and payloads of up to 1,050 kg. If the existing base frame is suitable, the drive can be mounted on it with an adapter plate. Intact components can then be reused.
What you can rely on
Calculated for elevator systems with 1:1 suspension
The overall system consists of drive, frame, deflection pulley, plastic-coated ropes and matching frequency inverter.
- Payload: up to 1050 kg
- Maximum axle load: 4850 kg
- Travelling speed: 1 to 1.6 m/s
- Traction sheave diameter: 160 or 200 mm
- Plastic-coated bearer cables: 8.1 and 10 mm
For a project-specific test, additional information on the existing system can be requested, such as suspension, payload, travelling speed and installation situation.
