External main switch with bypass function. In an emergency, the frequency inverter can be bypassed using the main switch, enabling 100% operation of connected fans.
Main switch for EC fans
Zenec main switch for 1~/3~ EC fans from the ETAvent and ECblue series with 100% functionality. EC fans are controlled by an external control signal, e.g. 0–10 V. If the control signal fails due to a technical defect, the Zenec can be used to manually switch the connected EC fan to 100%.
- Version: For combination with 1~ and 3~ EC fans that support the control option for the 100% function: 1~ ETAvent and 1~/3~ ECblue for agriculture.
- Switch positions: 100%: Full speed of EC fan 0: Fan switched off. The switch can be locked in this position with a padlock
Auto: Control operation via external setting signal
Main switch with bypass function
The main switches have three switch positions. In position 1 or Auto, power is supplied to a connected frequency inverter. The controlled output of the frequency inverter
goes back to the switch, which uses the output to supply fans, for example. 100% or bypass means that the connected mains power supply is switched directly to fans or motors. This enables 100% operation in certain situations, such as emergency mode. An integrated auxiliary contact signals this switch position.
In position 0 or Off, the switch can be locked with a padlock. For combinations with frequency inverters without a sine filter, there are EMC inserts that can be inserted into the switches.
- For combinations with 1~ or 3~ control units (e.g. Fcontrol frequency inverters, voltage controllers). Mains power supply 1~ or 3~.
