Constant volume flow control for controlled domestic ventilation
UNIcon FlowControl CVG
In addition to minimal acoustics, the fans for ventilation systems in living spaces must be energy-efficient. In order to work energy-efficiently, needs-based ventilation of living spaces is essential, too much air means draughts, too little can lead to an unpleasant indoor climate. The air exchange rate of the house is just as important for needs-based domestic ventilation. For ventilation in new buildings, this is determined on the basis of environmental specifications with regard to energy saving and also requires additional measured values for the ventilation.
The UNIcon FlowControl CVG control module from ZIEHL-ABEGG can provide precisely these additional measured values, all from a single source. By simply integrating the control module into your existing system via Plug & Play, you can expand it and obtain a predefined volume flow through the fan.
Uniform flow conditions thanks to modern control technology
Constant volume flow control ensures that the volume flow, i.e. the amount of medium flowing through per unit of time, remains constant. This control method is particularly popular in heating, ventilation and air conditioning applications, as uniform flow conditions are required here to ensure optimum function and efficiency. The requirements for the fans in such control systems are an adjustable speed, appropriate sensors, a controllable control unit and compatibility with the overall system. ZIEHL-ABEGG combines all these requirements in the new products for controlled domestic ventilation systems.
