Air Movement and Control Association International (AMCA) is the largest independent, international and not-for-profit association of manufacturers that develops, establishes and monitors standards and certification for air systems and fans. This also ensures uniform and comparable ratings for fans and the relevant testing requirements. The association is located in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The AMCA label is seen as a seal of quality on the American and Asian markets.
Jürgen Albig (Braunsbach) can look back on more than 40 years’ experience in fan development and manufacturing. He is currently Director Product Management for fans at Ziehl-Abegg. Albig is already involved in the trade association Gebäude-Klima e.V.: the industry association for the German air handling and ventilation industry. He also heads the Connectivity Working Group of EVIA, the European Ventilation Industry Association; this is the European umbrella organization for the ventilation industry.
