In addition to cooling and air conditioning passenger and driver compartments, technical components must also be reliably cooled. ZIEHL-ABEGG possesses extensive expert knowledge in this domain as well. We develop and produce solutions for efficient cooling of traction motors, electronics, chokes, and brake resistors that keep these components at optimal operating temperature during continuous operation, thereby minimizing wear and extending lifespan and use cycles.

We also offer efficiently operating, sophisticated solutions in the field of transformer cooling, as well as oil coolers with internal or external rotor motors and backward curved, free running high-performance impellers. Based on application requirements we can supply these as single or dual flow motor impellers with or without housing casing.

Our portfolio also includes ideal solutions for the ventilation of machine rooms to keep motors, other units, and critical system components optimally cooled, thereby extending their service life.
