COMPLIANCE

For ZIEHL-ABEGG, compliance means obeying all relevant rules, regulations and laws as well as communicating and realising the company's values. The Code of Conduct includes the fundamental values that are applied worldwide at ZIEHL-ABEGG. The focus of the Code of Conduct is on "clean business".

In addition to compliance with general legal requirements, compliance with environmental and human rights issues is also a prerequisite for a sustainable business relationship. The Business Partner Code of Conduct, which is derived from the Code of Conduct, defines the demands on business partners in the supply chain.

As a responsibly managed entity, we are committed to respect human rights and safeguard the environment within our supply chain, as now prescribed in the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz – “LkSG”).

How to Report a Compliance Case

Compliance with laws, rules, guidelines, our Code of Conduct and our Business Partner Code of Conduct is a high priority for us. We value open communication as well as transparent and correct business transactions. Therefore, we have set up a whistleblower system. Employees, customers and business partners can report compliance cases and also submit human rights-related and environmental reports via the system.

To the Whistleblower System

You can find the principles for whistleblowing, processing reports and protecting whistleblowers here:

Please note:
To submit a report, please follow the instructions of the system. It will guide you step by step through the entry process.
You can submit reports on possible violations anonymously or by giving your name. However, we encourage you to give your name in order to be able to respond to you individually. This will, of course, be treated with a high degree of confidentiality. In addition, we assure you that no disadvantages will arise if you report irregular behaviour to the best of your knowledge.
The system will ask you to create a mailbox in the whistleblower system. This will be used to contact you in case further inquiries are necessary. You can also communicate anonymously via the mailbox if you wish.
