Control modules

UNIcon universal control modules can be combined with all ZIEHL-ABEGG sensors. The actual value measured on the sensor is compared to the required nominal value.
The UNIcon sensor control module combines sensor functions and control intelligence. The actual and nominal values are compared. Depending on the version, ECblue motors and fans, frequency inverters and other power controllers are actuated by a 0 – 10 V signal or by a MODBUS.
 

Properties & special features:

UNIcon universal control modules with the integrated MODBUS master function allow for either the easy, automatic addressing of connected ECblue fans or frequency inverters.

Scope of functions:

• UNIcon universal control module, with integrated MODBUS master function. With easy-to-select pre-set operating modes. Additional inputs and outputs are integrated.
• Sensor control module for pressure control in refrigerating systems (condensers)
• Sensor control module for differential pressure control in air conditioning systems or in extraction and ventilation systems. Optional control based on air volume flow rate.
• Control module specifically for temperature control
• Special industry-specific versions, e.g. for agricultural applications (UNIcon as ventilation computer)
