To ensure that ECblue fans and ZIEHL-ABEGG frequency converters can be integrated and incorporated into these systems, ZIEHL-ABEGG provides gateways for different bus systems. The gateways support the automatic addressing of entire groups of connected ECblue fans or frequency converters. The gateways function as a "MODBUS MASTER" and address the connected products via their MODBUS connection. For the amplification of MODBUS signals, ZIEHL-ABEGG offers MODBUS repeaters. These feature complete galvanic isolation and can likewise automatically address connected devices. Solutions are available for diverse applications: for production processes or for ventilation tasks across numerous industries.
For connecting a MODBUS system to a PROFIBUS system. The gateway operates as a MODBUS master controlled via PROFIBUS. Optionally, groups of connected frequency converters or EC motors and fans can be addressed automatically. The gateway features a USB interface for bus monitoring via a PC or laptop.
The unit is a MODBUS amplifier with complete galvanic isolation. Up to 63 MODBUS RTU nodes can be connected to this repeater. The connected MODBUS devices (slaves) can be addressed automatically.
