Specially developed for applications in potentially explosive atmospheres, e.g. when using highly flammable gases, centrifugal fans from the ZAbluefin series are available with ATEX and IECEx certificates.

ZAbluefin explosion protected version as ER-module

Next generation free-running centrifugal impeller. The impeller is designed as a centrifugal fan in steel, aluminium or ZAmid® technology with 5 backward-curved blades and is available in various motor technologies.

Special features include the biomimetic 3D profiling with an innovative design in the form of specially twisted blade geometry, as well as the blade leading edge developed according to the biomimetic action principle and the V-shaped serrated trailing edge, which enable a wide range of characteristics. In conjunction with an opening rotating diffusor, this fan achieves the highest impeller and system efficiencies.

In combination with the innovatively corrugated blade surface, diffuse sound radiation takes place, which ensures the lowest possible sound level.

Product specification:

Free-running ZAbluefin wheel made of high performance composite material ZAmid^® for a standard of performance. Adapted for intelligent ECblue motor technology (IE5) for maximum system efficiency figures and premium characteristics in any application. Available in sizes 250 to 560 mm. Version incl. inlet nozzle with measurement device for air flow. Air flow rates of up to 19,000 m³/h free blowing, max. static pressure increase of up to 1,800 Pa possible.
Ventilation unit GR for compact installation in customer applications/devices. Also available with the compact ZApilotXL performance module.

Product specification:

Free-running ZAbluefin wheel in aluminium specially adapted to ECblue motor technology (IE5). Ideally suited for applications with increased requirements for hygiene and fire protection, with the highest system efficiencies, while still ensuring favourable acoustics.
Available in sizes 315 – 630. Inlet nozzle with measuring device for air flow measurement. Air flow rates up to 20,000 m³/h free blowing, max. static pressure increase up to 2,000 Pa possible.
Ventilation unit GR for compact installation in customer applications/devices.

Product specification:

Free-running ZAbluefin wheel made of sheet steel with surface protection provided by powder coating. Available in sizes 250 to 1,120 mm. Version with hub (taper lock or fixed hub) and inlet nozzle with measurement device for air flow. Air flow rates up to 80,000 m³/h free blowing, max. static pressure increase of up to 2,100 Pa possible.
ER built-in fans, for example for vibration-dampened use in central air-conditioning units. GR module for compact installation in customer applications/devices.
