The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) sets out binding requirements for the prevention of packaging waste, the promotion of the circular economy, and the provision of sustainable packaging solutions.

As a company, we fully recognise these legal requirements and have systematically and bindingly integrated the requirements of the PPWR into our internal guidelines, processes and corporate principles. Compliance with all regulatory obligations – particularly with regard to conformity, documentation, record-keeping and continuous improvement – is, for us, an essential component of responsible and legally compliant corporate governance.

  • our packaging and processes comply with the applicable legal requirements
  • the necessary documentation and declarations of conformity are properly prepared, maintained and made available

Regulatory requirements are implemented across all sites in accordance with a clearly defined organisational model.

  • Declarations of conformity relate to clearly defined areas of application and branches
  • Compliance with legal requirements is the responsibility of the relevant organisational units
  • All information is provided to the best of our knowledge and in accordance with the applicable legal requirements
  • Changes to regulatory requirements may necessitate amendments to existing documents and processes

Documentation & Record-keeping

The provision, maintenance and versioning of declarations of conformity are carried out in a structured and traceable manner.
All documents must include at least the following:

  • Version number and expiry date
  • Clear allocation to a branch and area of responsibility
  • Reference to the relevant legal requirements
