FE3owlet is a biomimetic-inspired blade design engineered for high performance. The successful adaptation of the barn owl’s wing shape has resulted in a distinctive blade design, featuring a profiled, swept-back blade with a serrated trailing edge and a wavy leading edge. The result is efficient airflow, high air volume and reduced noise compared with comparable fans. The combination of a biomimetic blade concept and a motor makes FE3owlet a powerful solution for demanding applications.
The FE3owlet axial fan combines a biomimetically optimised blade with an additional wavy leading edge. Inspired by the owl’s wing, the blade features a serrated trailing edge and a winglet, as well as a wavy blade leading edge. The blade angle is adjustable. The air volume can be controlled across the full speed range, providing 100% speed control flexibility. Its high efficiency makes it suitable for refrigeration, building air conditioning, energy and environmental technology, mechanical and plant engineering, and automotive applications. Available with external rotor motors using AC or EC technology (ECblue with an integrated controller matched to the fan).
