ZAtopx is a gearless elevator machine featuring the StPUGurt concept, expanding the ZIEHL-ABEGG range of elevator drive solutions for numerous building types, installations, or any application involving passenger and vertical goods transport. ZAtopx combines efficient motor power with smooth running characteristics and low noise generation. The new elevator machine enables the use of traction shafts reduced down to 100 mm, thereby allowing installation in very slim construction lines. This creates greater flexibility in elevator planning: less space required for technology translates into more space for the car, interior spaces, and passengers.

By using belts as the suspension means, the diameters of traction shafts and deflection pulleys can be further reduced down to 100 mm. As a result, these drives can be designed even more compactly.
