Selection amplifiers

Intelligent control technology from ZIEHL-ABEGG makes refrigeration technology applications as reliable and efficient as possible: Refrigeration systems with several refrigeration circuits, e.g. fans on coolers and condensers, also have several sensors. The AWV-K2 selection amplifier from ZIEHL-ABEGG is in charge of selecting the highest pressure signal. This is indicated by light-emitting diodes on the device. The AWV-K2, incl. the sensors connected to it (e.g. ZIEHL-ABEGG pressure sensors, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, etc.), are supplied via the control unit. A housing with a transparent cover and the “STEP POWER” power supply unit are optionally available for the selection amplifier.

For selecting the strongest sensor signal available (e.g. multi-circuit refrigeration technology). When it comes to controlling fans on coolers and condensers,
systems that have several refrigeration circuits contain several sensors. In this type of application, it is necessary to select the highest sensor signal, which is passed on to the control unit. The AWV-K2 selection amplifier selects the highest pressure signal (refrigerant pressure). Alternatively, the highest temperature signal from a TF... temperature sensor can be selected. The AWV-K2 plus any connected sensors can be supplied via the control unit.
